Fire in the warehouse of “Verkon” LLC (“Normal – centre” LLC) which took place on August 15, 2010, became the biggest insured loss in Ukraine in the last couple of years. “Eldorado” rented part of the warehouse situated in Kyiv, 67 Pobedy Ave, to store their inventory.

On March 30, 2011 Insurance Company “Ukrainian Insurance Group” finalized payment of indemnification which totaled in over USD 11 mln. Due to the complexity of the insured event the payment was made in two installments – over USD 7.5 mln and USD 3 mln each.

Loss assessment was carried out by Cunningham Lidsey represented in Ukraine by “Ukrainian Loss Adjuster”

BritMark participated in all stages of this claim settlement, starting from notifying the insurance company about the insured event and counting the damaged goods’ pieces.
